These Additional Terms and Conditions (“Additional Terms“) apply to the platform operated under the name “Discovery” (“Platform“) and shall be read together with the [Terms of Use], [Privacy Policy], and any other applicable policies governing the Website (“Website Terms“).
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Additional Terms and the Website Terms, the Website Terms shall prevail, except to the extent that these Additional Terms expressly provide otherwise.
Unless otherwise defined herein, all capitalised terms used in these Additional Terms shall have the meanings assigned to them under the Website Terms.
The Platform has been established to assist Users in growing and developing their businesses by enabling them to discover business networks, identify potential opportunities, and explore avenues for enhancing their sales and business prospects.
Accordingly, the Company may, from time to time, make available on the Platform information pertaining to (“Opportunities”):
- information relating to exhibitions, e-commerce marketplaces, and other business platforms;
- information regarding opportunities for entrepreneurs to access consultations, guidance, or interactions with industry experts; and
- information relating to government schemes, initiatives, programmes, and other resources relevant to entrepreneurs.
Such information pertaining to the Opportunities may include, among other things, contact details, locations, eligibility or applicability criteria, relevance, benefits, and links to third-party websites, platforms, content, or resources (collectively, “Discovery Content“).
The Discovery Content is made available solely for general informational purposes and is provided to Users free of cost. The availability of Discovery Content on the Platform does not constitute, and shall not be construed as, the provision of any services by the Company or the Platform. In particular, the Company and the Platform do not provide, offer, facilitate, arrange, endorse, or undertake any advisory, consultancy, brokerage, intermediary, professional, or similar services through the Discovery Content.
Users acknowledge and agree that any decision, action, or omission undertaken by them based on the Discovery Content shall be made solely at their own discretion and risk. The Company shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, claim, liability, or consequence arising out of or relating to any reliance placed on the Discovery Content or any interaction, engagement, transaction, or relationship between a User and any third party through or in connection with the Platform.
Any dealings, communications, transactions, or arrangements between a User and any third party arising from or relating to the Discovery Content shall be solely between the User and such third party and shall be governed exclusively by the terms and conditions agreed between them. The Company shall not be a party to, or responsible for, any such dealings.
By accessing or using the Platform, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Additional Terms and the Website Terms.
