He has worked as Assistant Commissioner & Deputy Commissioner in Mumbai in Business, Corporate, TDS, Central Charge and International Taxation & Investigation. He has been active in investigation and had distinct exposure with PANAMA Papers, ICIJ cases and Luxembourg papers

Shri B. Sunil Kumar is an Inspector of 1996 batch promoted as ITO in the year 2006.
